Albany to Norseman 698 km
We started the morning by viewing the ANZAC monuments in Albany.

After leaving Albany, we rode to Esperance via Jerramungup, Ravensthorpe, and Munglinup.

Esperance is a very beautiful town in a spectacular location, with friendly people. Thanks to Ryan (sorry about the spelling) for the informative chat about the commercial wharf and exports from Esperance and for taking the photo of us at Castletown beach.

We reluctantly cut our visit to Esperance short as there was a storm approaching from the West, and we needed to ride 200km North to Norseman. The storm chased us to Norseman and hit the town about an hour after we safely arrived. There was lots of rain and several lightning strikes, so we were pleased to be off the road.
In Norseman, we met Chris, who is riding his Africa Twin to Port Pirie. He wasn’t as fortunate as us and rode through the storm most of the way from Busselton.
